Proxy voting allows members to participate at the Annual General Meeting even if they are absent. This way, as many members as possible can have their voices heard in the decisions governing Youth Action.
All proxy votes must be received by 9am 24 October 2017 to be counted! Late votes cannot be included.
There are three ways you can submit a proxy vote:
- Using our online form
- Downloading and sending our form in
- Giving your vote to another member.
Option 1. Use our online form
The online form is convenient and easy to use. Follow these four steps:
- Step 1: Complete your personal details, including your membership type.
- Step 2: Vote for one Board candidate for the position of Ordinary Member. Click here for nominee information.
- Step 3: Vote on whether you support the Special Resolution to change the Youth Action Constitution. Click here to download the Special Resolution.
- Step 4: Confirm your vote and submit.
Option 2. Download our form and send it in

To submit using the paper form, follow these five steps:
- Step 1: Complete your personal details, including your membership type.
- Step 2: Tick Option 1 'I am submitting my own vote to Youth Action' and sign the form.
- Step 3: Vote for one Board candidate for the position of Ordinary Member. Click here for nominee information.
- Step 4: Vote on whether you support the Special Resolution to change the Youth Action Constitution. Click here to download the Special Resolution.
- Step 5: Send it to us by either:
- Emailing it to [email protected]
- Posting it to Youth Action, Suite 401, Level 4, 52-58 William St, Woolloomooloo NSW 2011.

To allow a member attending the AGM to submit a vote on your behalf, download the form and follow these five steps:
- Step 1: Complete your personal details, including your membership type.
- Step 2: Tick Option 2 'I am nominating someone else to submit my vote', and complete their details (don't forget to sign it at the bottom of the first page)
- Step 3: Vote for one Board candidate for the position of Ordinary Member. Click here for nominee information.

- Step 5: Give your form to your nominated proxy to hand in at the AGM.
