Youth Action Conversations with Young People

Health Services Inquiry Roundtable

Youth Action would like to hear from young people age 12-24 in rural and regional areas in a roundtable on Monday September 27, 5:30 - 6:30pm about what access to GPs and other health services is like for you and other young people in your community.
We will use what you tell us to inform our submission to the Federal Inquiry into the provision of general practitioner and related primary health services to outer metropolitan, rural, and regional Australians to help the Federal Government better understand young people's experiences with healthcare and improve health outcomes for young people.

Youth Employment Roundtable

Youth Action recently held a series of consultations with young people about youth employment to inform research we are undertaking with the Australia Institute. The next phase of the research is to bring a group of 20 young people together to discuss the findings from these consultations and develop recommendations to put to decision-makers to help improve employment outcomes for young people.

Youth Action is seeking expressions of interest from young people to join this online roundtable on Wednesday September 29, 5.30 - 7pm. If selected to attend, you will be paid $50 for your time.

Young People on Board

Youth Action will be hosting an online information session on Tuesday October 5, 5:30 - 6:30pm for young people interested in learning more about corporate/organisational governance.

We will be joined by guest speakers who will outline the roles and responsibilities of Directors, share their experience as young Board members and provide some guidance for those looking to nominate for a Board position.
