Ministry of Health COVID19 Boosters for Young People

Youth Action will be holding a consultation with the sector and the NSW Ministry of Health to discuss vaccination and booster uptake in young people in NSW. The uptake in covid vaccine boosters in young people is currently at 58.4%, which is a good start but is behind the ideal targets needed to create a covid safe community. NSW Health would like to talk with the sector on what support young people and the sector need to help encourage the uptake in boosters. Joining us from NSW Health will be Chief Health Officer Kerry Chant.

Capacity Building in 2022

Youth Action will continue to offer capacity building opportunities for youth workers in NSW in 2022. Alongside our developing program we are asking the sector what sessions you would like to see for services and young people next year. Opportunities in 2022 will continue to be a mix of online and face-to-face opportunities. Complete the survey below to send us your input. It should take approximately three minutes to complete.
