What's Up West 2017

The conference for young change makers in Western Sydney

Community Partners

Over two action-packed days this month, hundreds of young people from across Greater Western Sydney will come together at WSU Bankstown.

What's Up West? is a unique event designed especially by, and for, young people in Greater Western Sydney. After two action-packed days, you'll be part of a growing community of young leaders, ready to tackle the region's toughest challenges.

As you know, Greater Western Sydney is going through a major transformation. How we act now will directly affect future opportunity for the region. Young people have the most at stake and there are currently not enough avenues for them to be involved in decision-making processes.

In direct response to this need, Youth Action has developed an opportunity that will give young people the opportunity and skills they need to help build a positive future for GWS.

The agenda will empower, inspire, and equip young people to get involved in their community and make the future of the region one they want to be a part of.

Inspired. Empowered. Equipped.
  • Learn about the top three priority areas for Greater Western Sydney and how you can help shape what the region will look like in the future.
  • Be inspired and get skilled-up to create change in your own community.
  • Have volunteering opportunities to make a real, lasting difference in your community.
  • Be connected with Youth Action and get access to further training to make GWS and NSW a great place for all young people.
